Recipe editor
New recipePaste a recipe URL. Import automatically saves the recipe and creates its 4 × 6 PDF on your NAS.
If the website says 403 Forbidden, it is blocking NAS downloads. Use Browser Recipe Grabber on the recipe page itself, or paste the text below.
Browser Recipe Grabber — import from a site that blocks the NAS
On a computer, drag this link to your bookmarks bar. Visit a recipe page in your browser, then click that bookmark. It brings the recipe back here and automatically saves the PDF on your NAS.
For Android, create a browser bookmark named Save to White Birch Farm and paste the bookmarklet URL using Copy bookmarklet code. Then open the recipe page and launch the bookmarklet from the address bar by typing its name. Mobile browsers vary; if yours does not support bookmarklets, save the recipe page as HTML or paste the ingredients and directions instead.
Works best on pages with embedded Recipe data or a visible recipe card. It cannot retrieve recipes hidden behind a subscription or login you don't have. Always review quantities and steps.
Import from pasted text or saved file
Imported recipes are saved immediately. Edits to saved recipes automatically update the PDF after you stop typing.
4 × 6 recipe cards
Ingredients on the front; directions on following cards. Longer recipes use extra 4 × 6 pages instead of reducing text until it is unreadable.

YOUR RECIPE CARD
Ingredients & directionsPaper: 4 × 6 inches
Orientation: Landscape
Scale: Actual size / 100%
For a double-sided card, use the printer's duplex setting appropriate to your printer; test alignment with plain paper first. Some printers cannot duplex index cards.
Recipes live on your NAS. Direct link imports are fetched by the NAS; Browser Recipe Grabber reads the recipe already open in your browser.
